delongpre 1986 Pontiac trans am

My name is Matt and recently I purchased a 1986 Delongpre trans am. I'm having trouble finding any info on these and the only post about it is 5 years old? Can someone help me out?

I'd be interested, too. Just ran across this one last weekend - owner said it was an interior package. Also an 86.

Two-tone seats? I don't see much going on that's different. Seems very similar to both my 86 Trans Am's interior wise.

Those wheels look newer than 86. Look like my 91 Formula wheels. The 86 wheels are much uglier.

Re: delongpre 1986 Pontiac trans am

According to a Fiero website, Longpre was a Pontiac dealership in California who "custom ordered" cars and then put a "deLongpre" badge on them. So it sounds like the normal dealership thing to make them appear special in trying to sell more cars. That would appear about right as nothing on the car looks special. The graphite pallex seat inserts and the gold wheels were available on the Firebird.

The Wheels are the 15" wheels and I believe they started in 85, maybe earlier. They are similar to the 16" Formula wheels, but 15"
