It should be on your cowl tag. It should be 19L (Lower) 19 is the RPO for black IIRC for those years... WA might be 0848, that was the code for the 19U (Upper), and usually they used the same paint for a lower color, so not to have multiple colors of Black...

Thanks John. Actually my car is a 1984 W62. Removing the ground effects to make it like my first car which was a 1982.

WA 8555 is the Black for 86-92. I think technically they are the same color, the WA0848 is intended to be used without Clear Coat, and 8555 is for Clear coat applications. I know they did this for the Yellow Gold from 85 which was WA8740 and 86-88 was WA8929, they are identical colors if you park them side by side, but the 86 has a clear coat. Actually I think it was a mid year change to Clear Coat in 1985, so some 85s have a the BCCC
