Factory Reports on 3rd-Gens?

You can run factory reports (production date, sold at a specific dealership, etc) on many older cars. Is there a service like this for 3rd-gens?

Thanks,

The (Lazy ) parts man at a Sonoma County Chevrolet Dealer told me Chevy dropped the service/warranty files, on my 1989 IROC Z , a year or more, ago. FWIW.

It was longer than that ago, probably 10 years... they dropped everything for the F-body from 82-89...

Your best bet is to pickup a copy of the Camaro White Book, and start crunching the numbers yourself. Last I looked, the GM Heritage Center was mostly scans from that book anyway. It tends to be out of print at times, and harder to find, but it's probably the best Camaro reference around for production numbers.

You may be able to get a copy of your invoice. It'll have a little more info on it than a SPID, but I wouldn't want to pay that much for one.
