Is their a difference between an Automatics Shift **** in and Iroc-z between and 305 and 350? Mainly questioning the 1988 year but would like to also know in other Iroc years if their is a difference. Oval/ square style verses round style like earlier years.

 

5.7 will have a square **** (top photo) I believe, vs the round **** on a 305 (bottom photo).

 

Are you sure the second pic with round is an 88? Hard to tell but seats don't appears to be 88.

 

No, I am not 100% sure on if it is an 88 or not.

***** were NOT different between 350 and 305 cars unless the 305 car had a manual transmissions. All IROC's in 88 with the auto trans had the same shift **** that IROCIN posted in the first picture. The round ***** were earlier cars. 87 ***** were similar but a little shorter and only a one year ****. I believe the round ***** went from 82-86.
