Leonard, I still enjoy the car hobby, but I don't get out with the cars like I used to. The car show scene that I used to be a part of has dwindled down to nothing. Even the local Camaro club that I used to belong to has been idle since 2018. I left the club back in 2010, but the Florida car show scene isn't what I wanted it to be when I moved here in 2002. I think it's time to pass the keys to the next keeper of my cars. I also sold my motorcycle, so maybe I just need to simplify my life some. Not sure what I'll replace the cars with, if anything at all. My son is grown now, and has interest in other cars, not the Camaro.

I totally understand! I have gone through several hobbies besides my cars. I sold 3 cars, 13 garden tractors, many Model A Ford parts, my honey bees and a few other things before my move. I’m back into the honey bees, but still not doing much car stuff. Good Luck with whatever you decide to do next!

This guy had 46 cars for sale at this auction. He banked $2,607,000. Wow

I agree. The LS3 '85 IROC-Z looks to be very well done and the seller did well on the price.

Regarding the departure of the Camaro: I tend to wonder if it won't be converted to electric, a la the Mach-E Mustang...?

Sure hope not, Camaro's have always prided itself in being naturally aspirated.

For example: the chemical composition of exhaust gas from a modern gasoline-powered vehicle is mainly nitrogen (73%) -- which is nearly the same proportion of nitrogen as in the native air (78%). There is also some water vapor and carbon dioxide (both about 13% each), with trace gases making up the remaining 1%. So the whole controversy surrounding 'carbon emissions' from fossil fuels is predicated on the argument that carbon dioxide -- which every bird, fish, and mammal on the plant exhales -- is an 'environmentally-hazardous gas.' Or, in other words: nature has evolved in such a way as to be hazardous unto itself... That just doesn't add up... But seemingly no hard scientific facts and reasoning will thwart the environmentalists from pushing their soft and circular 'science' on everyone -- to the point of actually accusing people like me of being 'science deniers' when I hit them with hard facts and logic... Go figure...

Sorry for the digression from the main topic...
Not to mention the already strained power grid???

True, but a 2018 1LE is no comparison to a 1988 1LE. Tech is ever changing!
