Engine Coolant Cap

I’ve seen white letters and black letters. This one has red, yellow, and blue letters.

Anything special or did someone just get creative with a fine tipped paintbrush?

Re: Engine Coolant Cap

How about some more details. like year make, and model of car. I have only seen white and black ( if the white has been rubbed off)

All I know is that it was off a junkyard thirdgen. I'm sorting through my boxes-o-parts that have been in storage for years and this caught my eye.

Re: Engine Coolant Cap

The cap letters were always white. The black is because the white rubbed/wore off. This cap with multiple colors is someone's creative side being put on display.

Re: Engine Coolant Cap

I would say it’s the extra special bicentennial edition version. However, that would be red, white and blue and in 1976 of which the 3rd gen didn’t even exist yet. lol!

I think someone was bored. I wonder what else he colored on the car?
