History / OriginalityGot a question about 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird history? Have a question about original parts, options, RPO codes, when something was available, or how to document your car? Those questions, answers, and much more!
I used to have a 91 T/A convertible that I sold to a fellow board member.
Apparently, I purchased new fender liners from GM, and while cleaning my garage today I found them, still with GM tags attached.
Does anyone know what's different on these vs 92 Camaro inner fender liners?
The part numbers on specify firebird convertible only. (?)

The later Firebird inner fender plastics went inside the fender for tire clearance in the front and rear of the wheel well. The early fender liners were exposed all the way around... Hard to explain, but the 91/92 inner fenders have a little cut at about 45° in the front and rear to go from outside to inside.
The camaro had a larger wheel well opening, about 2" overall IIRC. the panels I believe are completely different as all 82-92 Camaros probably use the same panel.
