Is a Yellow 87 LB9/manual G92 G80 CC1 a rare options configuration?

I recently bought a 1987 Iroc and started down the original options rabbit hole and found that the last year for yellow Iroc was 87 and first year for LB9/manual was 87. my car also has the G92 performance rear Axle code with G80 limited slip diff. Another aspect is it also has CC1 T-Tops. I was told that the performance options with T-Tops was uncommon just wondering how rare this car is, or if it’s rare at all? Was planning on restoring it and keeping it all original as possible.

Most recent pictures of my yellow 87 Manual. A bit rough but good starting point.

Nice, a really cool IROC - can you post up a pic of the spid tag?

here’s the spid tag. A little weathered but plenty of character.

Unfortunately, there is no complete records to be able to accurately gauge how rare the car is or isn't based strictly on option combinations.

However, 1987 was the year where there were plentiful Camaros with the L98 (350/performance), CC1 (T-Tops) and G92 (performance). In fact, it's believed it's the only year you could get all 3 from the factory. While you have the LB9/MM5 combination, the point is still the same - 1987 was the year for the Camaro having all the performance options, plus T-Tops, from the factory. There is evidence there was quite a bit of these cars equipped with those options, based on their appearances on the market over the years.

Very cool!

While I've seen some of these in yellow, I don't know that I recall seeing yellow wheels before.

I believe someone painted them at some point not sure when, looking into getting them back to original gold color scheme.
