1PV - SPECIAL PERFORMANCE VEHICLE

This is on the RPO for an 87 Z28 Non Iroc. I guess the 1PV is just GM code talk for Z28? I can't any info on it at all.

1PV : PAINT SCHEME, 21
'21( )' translates to a stripe, interior trim, wheel, or moulding color.

IIRC, an '87 Z28 will show that specific RPO code on its SPID.

I don't believe 1PV is "Special Performance Vehicle". Atleast not for your application.

Keep in mind GM recycled (reused) RPO codes. For example, the Y84 RPO code was used two different times during the ThirdGen run. From the 1982-1984 years, it was the RPO code used for the Recaro Special Edition Trans Am. From 1987-1992, it was the RPO code for the GTA option.
