1987 G92 Convertible

Tomorrow I'll be picking up this 1987 G92 Convertible. She will need some love with the hood and back deck needing the most attention due to paint failure/sun fade. She has just over 25k on the clock. Original owner was a worker at the Norwood plant. I am buying it from the 2nd owner, his father worked with the original owner at the plant. in the last year he installed a new top, carpet, exhaust, brakes and many other things. I think she will clean up nicely. Only have a few photos from the owner so far, will get more once I get it in my possession. You can see his 1985 L69 with 30K miles in the background of photo #1... I already asked....he said it is staying and going to his kids!

Got the car home and cleaned it up a bit. Still feel like I’ll need to do a total repaint….

Imho, just drive it and enjoy it as it is. It will be more fun that way. The paint is only original once and having a car with original paint that still looks pretty decent (for the most part) is something to be proud of.

Re: 1987 G92 Convertible

Congrats on the new IROC! Dan is a super nice guy and a wealth of information about the last years of Norwood F-body production. I got to spend some time listening to him at the GM Nationals at Carlyle in 22.
