RPO differences?
RPO differences?
Looking into the RPO codes alittle deeper on my 87’Camaro I purchased a few weeks back. I noticed my VIN lists N for Norwood plant, but I have VAN in the codes. Also CC1 which I understand is Ttops, which the car definitely doesn’t have and no immediate signs I can see that a hard top was welded on.
Anybody else run into issues like this or am I just looking at RPO mistakes. Couple other discrepancies I’ve found so I’m unsure.

Re: RPO differences?
Nope, feel dumb that I glanced right over it. Guess the console was replaced at some point from another car, as I’ve found the same vin as the dash on other parts of the car.
guess I’m SOL for the proper RPO codes.

Re: RPO differences?
Some cars have a buildsheet in the car. The buildsheet can be anywhere in the car but know that many didn't have them. The paperwork was considered trash and disposed of at the assembly line or at the dealership. There's also trimsheets, that aren't complete, but will have RPO codes. Again, those trimsheets can be anywhere in the car.
Lastly, if the car is an export, there may be records online.
