Invoice questions
I got my Formula's invoice from PHS, and have a question or two... hopefully it's small enough to attach. Anyway the first question... is there any way to tell what dealership the car was originally sent to?
Next, RPO's VX5 and VQ5.
VQ5 FLT-OVERRIDE OF VQ1, VQ2, OR VQ3
VX5 FLT-CASH ALLOWANCE
so what do those RPO's mean?

I have the same invoices--for 2 cars--one of them has the dealer address on the bottom of the page--where yours says Gen SVC Adm-- but on my other sheet it has the same address as yours-gen svc adm-. What is this address? Part of GM's ordering?

Drew, do you by chance have the window sticker from your car?
It would state at least what dealer originally ordered the car.

That invoice does not show what dealer ordered it or what dealer it was sent to, only the original window sticker will tell you that. Where it says "Ship To", that is not the dealer number, it looks like a dealer number but it's not. We should be able to call PMD and they can tell us what that number is. For example, my original window sticker says "ship to dealer 23-238" which IS my cars original selling dealer, but the PHS invoice I got says "ship to 35-992", go figure. It definantly is a location code of some kine. At the very bottom it has "50-480, GM Auction Sales, One Pontiac Plaza, Pontiac MI 48053".

Well I worked for a dealer up until 3 weeks ago. The invoice should always reflect the dealer sold to. however there are exceptions. Example: a Savana passenger van I sold showed Gm southern region detroit.... Another is 4 pga golf event shilouetts we had. They were listed as GM special event southern region on window sticker and GM event vehicle auction... on invoice... Another was some firebirds and intrigues these were listed as our dealer on the window sticker but invoice was GM fleet sales ...
Each car has it's own history. Sometimes like the firebirds and intrigues was they had these cars sold fleet and had back outs on em. They give all the dealers a list and can buy them have em in a week and get these cars above and beyond their allocation. It is hard to read yours but from what I could read is it was ordered and packaged for fleet sales giving it a fleet "package" discount $800 and gas. They never show these discounts on sticker but it is there on "special" cars. If I got a better pic I could tell you exactly what the deal is with your car.
