Anyone else out there with an 86 T/A that has the digital dash? And does anyone know the RPO code for the digital dash?

I saw one on a used car lot about 5 years ago....a maroon T/A with silver gfx and charcoal GTA style wheels (would these have made it an '87???). Nice car you have there....keep it the way you have it!

 

My friend has an 86 with the digital dash. It's the only 86 I've ever seen with it. Certainly not a popular option in 86.

 

Thank you 82 for the code. I'm trying to reconstruct my RPO label. I have a factory invoice that listed the options but the dash isn't on it.

It was my understanding that the dash was "introduced" in 1987 however I know and can tell that mine was factory. I had guys almost argue with me about a year ago on this board.

We came to the conclusion that it must have been "tested" or "demo-ed" in 1986 as I don't think it was offered as an option.

Any more input feel free to kick in. I would like to see how many 86 owners on this board have this feature or if I am the only one.

 

Well I feel stupid. I re-looked at my invoice and there it is bigger than Dallas.......
