Well the adjuster just called and said the damage is $7,000 and they are going to replace the top and repaint the whole car. I will have to pay $120 deductable and $189 betterment for the top!My wife went 4x4 ing in it over a 2 1/2 ft embankment into a ravene at 45mph through a 4x6 post holding up a highway sign. The damage was caused by the 4x6 snapping and landing on the top bending the bows and ripping the top. The front end took minor damage because the lisence plate and support behind it snapped the sign. Didn't even tear the bumper! Lower air diverter ripped off and drivers side front ground effects ripped . Rest of car got scratched by black berry bushes.I pulled the car out with a friends 4x4 then drove it home. It still drives perfectly! Who say's converts are structually weak!I still cant believe how little damage to the car there was,but because of a few scratches they are repainting it all! Am I dreaming, if so maybe they will throw a blown twin turbo nitros fed fuel injected stroked 502 big block in it also. Don't Wake me !!!!!!!!! :lala 1989 GTA convertible L98 1 of 50 still on the road.That was close!
