OEM Shift plate (auto) -- NEW & BEAUTIFUL

I have an original OEM automatic transmission shift plate for sale. I bought this straight from the dealer many years ago (just before they were discontinued) and it has been in the box in my closet ever since. It has NEVER BEEN INSTALLED and is in absolutely BEAUTIFUL brand-new condition.

Due to its rarity and beautiful condition my asking price is $350.

I'm interested and it's beautiful.. but, 350 is way too much. Let me know if you get to something with a 1 in front of it.

thx!

Well, I don't think they were ever quite THAT cheap, unless you're talking about some kind of generic reproduction. I believe this one cost me 200-300 from the dealer. Of course now that it's discontinued it's reasonable to expect a little more for it--especially a part that was discontinued 10 years ago but is still in brand new/never-been-installed condition. This is exceedingly rare--all the oem shift plates on ebay are in "used" condition. If I don't get any interest I may come down some...we'll see. Thanks for your interest.

Yup, they were and were GM parts. In the catalogue I have they list as aftermarket if they are after market. You obviously bought yours from the wrong place. Someone ripped you.

Oh, the proof can't forget that. I get pissed when I see used ones priced more than these prices. Then the person selling them considers their self a real enthusiast. Wrong its people like that that are jacking the prices way up. Yes, parts are becoming a little more rare. Plus inflation, but we don't really need people trying to rip off others to line there pockets with extra green backs. It does not help the community. Just my 2cents.

Yup, even though those are reproductions they are brand new and you could never tell the difference between a original and that reproduction. In no way is a gm original more than twice the cost of a reproduction. I could see 20 more if still in a sealed box, but once opened up and taken out throw that 20 away.
