As the subject says, I have a set of late 80s or early 90s Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am Ultima gray leather seats that I've decided to let go. I purchased these seats about 4 years ago and have had them stored in my garage in plastic with hopes of having them recovered and putting them in my 92 T/A convertible. Ultimately, though, we let our kids ride in the back seat a lot and they will just destroy these plastic backs where are in pretty decent shape for the age. I instead put in a set of late 90s seats w/o lumbar, which are a little slimmer and have a vinyl back.

Anyhow, these seats are sold as-is since I have no means of testing the electricals or the lumbar (I do NOT have the harnesses either), but when I bought them 4 years ago everything was working. The driver seat has been recovered at some point and shows some wear but would probably be fine to go in a car. The passenger seat is rough. Both seats recline and return to upright just fine, and the headrests are both present with no missing parts, though the plastic cowl on the back of one the headrests has a small chip out of one corner.

For the back seat, I have one seat base that is ready to install, and the cover from the other seat base that was removed from its cushion due to rot (I can provide a cushion for you to install the cover on if you need it). I have a solid back rear seat, which is in rough shape and needs recovered. All the bolts and latches seem to be in place and functioning.

Asking price for everything listed is $250. I am willing to ship at the buyer's FULL cost, including packaging materials and insurance (I'd budget $200-$250 to ship everything), but pickup or even delivery is preferred. I could deliver or meet anywhere in central Indiana on either side of the state with a little notice, or maybe drive them a little further for a small additional cost (prepaid).

I may be willing to split up or separate...just PM with offers.

Thanks. It took me a long time to find these, so I know the rarity. I also know recovering seats is costly, so hopefully they're priced in a way that gives someone some value.

 

Amazingly I still have these...I'm open to offers but really just want to see these things find a good home. If I don't find them a home in the next couple weeks I think I'm going to wrap and store them in my attic...someday I'm guessing in the not too distant future they'll be impossible to find!

 

Any chance of selling just the split upper rear seats? And what would you want for them?

 

Feel free to PM me an offer. They're in nice shape and I think are a fair part of the value of the set, so I'm not inclined to give them away, but I'd rather find them a home! Those should be pretty cheap to ship ($50 at the most I'd think) too.

Do you still have the front seats? If you do, what condition is the foam and set pan in? Are the springs still good?

Yes, I still have the fronts. As the with the covers on I can't say for sure but the seats still sit well, so I'd assume the foam, springs, and pan are good. Thanks!
