I need the metal brace that goes inside the (Camaro) console just behind the radio. It's an L shapped metal bracket that provides strenght to the console and support for the factory radio. It unbolts from the rest of the console. I just need the metal bracket if anyone has one

 

i may have one im striping an 83 and dont need the interior let me know if u still need it

 

Yea I still need it. My car's an 87 so hopefully the console in an 83 is the same. Let me know if you have it.

 

i know that its the same as my 84, i will try to pull the console this week to get to it and i will get back to you

 

Cool. Thanks. To get it out you can just take off the trim plate in front of the radio and then remote the radio. The brace come out by removing a couple screws.
