I have a berlinetta and i am looking to replace that awkward radio with an aftermarket head unit. The only way to do this is if i can replace the console with another console from an 85 that doesnt have that swivel radio thing.

 

i have a complete console, what color are you looking for on the carpet on the sides or just straight up black black ,also what power options does the car have, windows. trunk switch ?

 

My windows, cruise contro, and trunk switchs are right in front of the glove box. Do you have a picture that i could see?

 

I've swapped the console before and will be going back to it soon. The one thing you need to do is "reshape" the front drivers side corner of the console. the Berlinetta dash is different from stock and doesn't have a notch for the console like the standard Camaro does.

Oh, and as noted I also relocated the lighter location since Berlinettas are on the console and not the dash. You probably want it in the same place as I put it since some of the structure underneath limits placement.

Edit: You can add holes for the window switches if the one you find doesn't have them. Just mark out the location/size, use a small drill for the four corners and cut the straight sections between them.
