I also have a 84 trans Am, and the only place I could find hard to find parts was ( David T's Automotive 780-454-3330 ) He is expensive. Another place to look would be on Craig's List, I found a 84 Trans Am parts car and I bought a lot of extra parts
I think David T's Automotive wants $140.00 for the Subwoofer Amp Switch, for myself that is quite expensive.
I have one in my 84, the only problem is it will not turn off unless I turn off the Radio.
I would keep my eye open on Craig's list for a parts car, I beleive the switch will fit a 82 to 84.

Good looking car you have there. Nice that the switch is available, but yeah for $140 I think I can live without it.
