Engine: 350 Vortec

Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: 3.42

89 gauges in 85?

Will the gauge cluster out of a 89 Trans Am 6 cylinder work in a 85 Trans Am V8 with no computer?

No. Not without some work. The speedometer in your 1985 is cable driven and the 1989 guages are electric. Also the V6 tach won't work on a V8 car.
