Autometer 12202 Full Pillar Dual Guage Pods TTop

I test fit this in the car and I am concerned about the guage pod actually touching the dash pad. Can anybody post pics of their install. I did a search and found alot of pictures, but they where all triple pods or the dual pod (10200). Anyboy have any tips for me? This is the dual pod that covers the whole factory a pillar.

i have the dual pod in my hard top iroc. mine sits on the dash pad as well and it was a mother f'er cause i have the full pillar with the hard top. the only choice i have is to remove it and use a dremel to shave the area down up where it meets the head liner and move it up a little bit.
