Provisions for Roll Up Cargo Cover ?

I think the plastic panels near the b pillars had 'flat spots' that were provisions for where the mounts went for the rollup cargo covers. Also there was some sort of hook under the hatch somewhere. Correct?

Does anybody have any pix showing a good closeup of tehse provisions?

Also did they ever mix the hinged floor panel cover with the rollup cargo cover or were these typically an either/or option???

Thanks

RPO for my 89 shows both. The mounting hardware for the roll up cover is still there, and yes, I still have the hinged cover for the well.

No pics of the mouting locations at the moment. The "hooks" are part of the cover itself, they attach into holes in the plastic trim piece of the hatch just behind the glass.

i just looked at my rollup cargo cover and there's no special flat spot in the panel for the cover. however, there is a hole in the trim panel for the cargo cover end trim pieces to screw into a metal bracket behind the panel. i added the cargo cover on my car (didn't originally come with that option) and had to cut the metal brackets out of the junkyard car and weld them on my car so i could install it.
there are 2 holes on the trim panel on the underside of the hatch in the back for the cover to hook into. the car i got the cargo cover out of also had that hinged trunk lid cover you mentioned, so i would guess you could combine these options. hope that helped. i'll try to take some pictures tomorrow.

Yes that helps thanks. Wasn't sure they were both offered together. I was also hoping this was a bolt in job but it doesn't sound like it.

thanks,

If anybody has time to post a pick of the hook/mounts that would be great. Thanks
