driver’s door is stuck
Ok here’s the problem, my driver’s door is stuck. I was driving and the back driver tire blew. The tire slapped the door handle and broke it. Now it won’t open at all. I have looked at it and the poll going to the door handle is broke and won’t stay on. When it first happened I could open the door from the inside but now it won’t even do that. Anyways for the past 2 days I have been going dukes of hazzerd out my window. Any ideas guys. How hard is it to replace all the crap for the door, I don’t know what to call it. The door locking mechanism, I think you know what I mean.
thanks guys

The thing that sucks is you will probably have to destroy your door panel to get it off now. Then figure out how to get the mechanism to open the door. Hopefully the rod for the outside door handle is just jammed the mechanism somehow. If the mechanism is broke, bad deal. Probably have to take a dremal(small grinder/cutter) to that mechanism, otherwise door cutting time.
I could not get the rod that connects to the inside door handle off. You'll need that mechanism and the rod for the inside door handle from another thirdgen.
