Sound Deadener
Sound Deadener
I had some sound deadener that I got from Classic Industries but I'm having a heck of a time figuring out which way the pieces go. Anyone have a diagram or can tell me how it goes?
Secondly is sound deadener necessary? Will it be noticable if I don't put it in?

Sound deadner is designed to stop the tinny sound or vibrations that you hear from large metal panels such as new doors, roofs etc....... You can simply place a large piece in the middle of the inside of the panel to help minimize that when you shut the door or if your building a car for sound such as a large stereo system I have even seen cars that are completely covered on the inside of all the metal panels to help minimize the vibration of the outer panels of a car when the base hits...... You have had the car pull up next to you at the stop light and all you can hear is the base hit followed by the vibration of the sheetmetal after every time the base hit...... You can always tell someone that cut corners when building their car and installing the system. Sound deadner will also help minimize some of the road noise that you hear during normal driving.
