i just finished my t56 swap in my 84 z28 and i am looking at speedometer options i know there is a converter from the vss signal to a cable but i was wondering if anyone knows what years have an electonic speedometer and if there is an easy swap?? or should i just give up and spend the 300 on the conversion box.

ps i have pics and info on the t56 install with headman longtubes 3" true duals and dynomax bullets if anyone is thinking of this setup. the crossmember gave me fits with the duals, and the headers wont fit without mods near the clutch slave.

 

sounds liek a nice car. I dont know about the guages though.
Did your z have a 85mph speedo in it. i have an 84Z my self with the dual needle 85mph speedo but have seen others with 140mph speedos. I was wondering which one was correct
