Anyone have these seats??

Who the hell knows why i like these seats so damn much but for some reason i am in love with the way they look in and out of the car. just havent seen alot in thirdgens and wanted to see some pics before i by them even though im almost positive ill buy them. they make the car real drag race like and i love that feeling. i dont car if it is yoyur car or someone elses that you post a pic of i just really want to see some more pics of these seats while i wait to get around to buying mine. i know there not expensive but im 17 and make minimum wage if you catch my drift. by the way i might as well mention i got a 350 almost built up to go in in the spring . pics in engine swap forums in spring. i just love that second smiley face lol

I understand how it is being on a tight budget but I really dont recommend those seats for a street car. Think about riding around in your car all day with a seat from an arcade racing game. Thats pretty much what that is. They sell them at jegs. http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...17655_-1_10509 I dont think it would be comfortable at all. Id look for the 189 dollar racing seats that summit sells and I believe jegs sells them too. Your in OH so you could really pick them up from one of their stores and pay 0 shipping.

anything over 30 minutes in those seats and you'll want to kill yourself. sparco, momo, summit brand, whatever in the racing type seats with actual foam in them would be 100x's better. That seat you have listed is uncomfortable regardless of having a cover or not.

Yep, I wouldnt be shocked if they were the same seats used for the arcade games.
Id recommend these for a cheap alternative

Not the best but a heck of alot better than the plastic ones. Probably 100x more safe too.

I wish my new digital camera wanted to work or i would post pics, I have a set of these seats in my 89, I am 6'4 and 295lbs, My but kinda fills the seats perfectly with even pressure, the only complaint is i have to remove my wallet from my back pocket so it doesnt dug into me, but all and all I have a street/strip car, and I drive it any time its not raining or it isnt broke down, I will mention that I do have custom welded mounting brackets for my car, I got them used with brackets for 50$ and I will say I got my moneys worth, I would buy this setup new if i did not have any.

ohio thirdgen- i know they sell them at jegs that is where i got the pic the reason i like these is because they dont remind me of the ones that you sent me links to in your 2nd post im just not a fan of that style.

zones89rs-- shouldnt be a problem for me then because im 5'8" and whey about 170 (i might fit in hem LOL)

to all- i know there not the most comfortable by looking at them but i dont care about price if they made exspensive padded one i would buy them. thanks for your help but i would still like to see some pics

I used to have those in another car the seats made my back sweat all the time and ended up having water blister looking things over time with daily driving with them. And i am a skinny guy i never sweat but with those any one will.

I have a set that looks exactly like the ones in Jegs. Only mine are 100% leather. Thick leather at that. Paid 250 for a set on e bay. Very comfortable, even on long rides. Also keeps you in seat.

Dont know how to post pics. Go to EBay, search "firebird leather seats". They ar e "Trendgear leather recardo style seats". For best performance use tracks from your current seat. Very comfortable. Maybe not in your 6'5'' and 350.
