Best way to clean out ducts?

My Z has been sitting for a while...7 years...heheh... While it was sitting, it got invaded by mice...

So theres lots of like...birdseed, acorns, etc all over the place, and one A/C vent has had a nice little hole chewed through it...inside I can see evidence that the mice have been in the A/C vents..

So my question is....whats the easiest way to clean these vents out? I thought if I could just blow a lot of air through, that might blow any junk out of em? Or is there a better way?

Are there any gadgets out there just for cleaning out air ducts in cars?

the only PROPER way to clean that mess is to remove the dash and take the vents all out and clean them out of the car. They are only plastic so you can run water through them to wash out any crap that may be stuck in there. Just blowing compressed air through it in the car is not going to garanntee you that you got everything out. The worse thing you want is to find out after your car is finshed that there was a dead mouse in there and now its started to stink out your car. Also, breathing in mouse poop is not good either. Do the job or you will be sorry.

remove them, flush with water, then air, goodluck. check everything, these suckers go places you would never imagine, ie, ive taken cars apart and found mouse turds in door armrests, center consoles, behind gauges, every nook and crannie in the car.

One more thing noone mention. After done go to a hvac supply house and buy biostat. It will kill anything left in duct. The previous post was right all kinds of good things in airborne mouse feces. Unfortunatly, some of them there are no curse.
