interior fabrication

I got a 4th gen dash in my 91 z28, but of course the upper dash cracks like crazy. I want make it much more durable. How do i make a piece like the rest of the dash console? You know the soft padding like material? Can anybody tell me where to purchase that stuff?

go to a local art store like a place called jo'anns or some place jsut jsut sells fabric material or go to a local car interior refurbisher and tell him you want to order a roll of vinyl and he will have you select the color. i think you buy by the yard so u'll have some extra incase you screw up or want to re-wrap it down the road if your patch job cracks also
