One thing that I have been noticing is that 4th gen nice interiors are becoming an exception. 10 years ago, almost all of them had nice interiors, now they are getting pretty ratty.

Re: Post some of those sexy interiors
It would probably kill ya to know that I got them for free. I sold a disk brake rear to someone local. I delivered the rear end to him to see these seats sitting outside his house in the dirt. I asked him what he was doing with them and he said nothing because he didn't like the red. He said I could have them if I wanted. I took them home, removed the covers and washed them. Put them back on and walla, perfect seats.

It's a piece of pipe, crimped at the ends, six holes drilled in it and covered in vinyl. Bolts to the stock vert seatbelt locations.

How much would you charge to make me a set of those A-Pillars for the 3rd-4th gen dash?

Re: Post some of those sexy interiors
My interior definately isn't anything special, I honestly hate the seat covers (they were in the car when I bought it). But, I do my best to keep it clean at ALL TIMES. No garbage allowed in my car.
Heres some pics:

Re: Post some of those sexy interiors
haha i wish. i had to use the camaro seat tracks, and elongate 2 of the holes on the corvette seat pan. and trim alot of the composite material off the pans so they clear the seat lever to slide the seat forward and backward.

Re: Post some of those sexy interiors
That said, it would still take about 20 hours for me to recreate them. Plus I would need the car to make sure they fit as no ones puts the dash in the same.
So probably a lot more then they're worth.

Re: Post some of those sexy interiors
If you're talking about the rear upper one's my car is too old to have them, and as for the front one's its a bad idea without some sort of bracing to keep the bar from being pulled forward. I was hoping to find something easier than putting in a hoop so I could run a 4 point harness SAFELY. Doesn't look like it though. Oh well.

Put a cage in the car and you'll have your bar then.

Re: Post some of those sexy interiors
Does your car have the mount for the cargo area cover? I'm not sure if it could be reinforced enough to hold a set of belts safely or not, but that might be something to look into.

why not weld in a piece of 1/4 inch plate somewhere to give you a solid mounting point?

6.5" sub in the rear of the doors. 5.25" component set in the front.
Should sound really well with my 13" sub that's not in the trunk.
Don't see it?
Yes I've been gone a while, but I've been real busy lately.

Re: Post some of those sexy interiors
what should there be extra on the passengers side ?
btw, actually nothing is 2 much diffirent from the stock interior.
just new colors everywhere, and ofcours a digital dash + sony radio.
most people now, notice something like, "I never thought there where white colored dashboards in thirdgens ? " or something like, "I thought all thirdgens came with a dark dashboard because of the steep windshield reflecting the colors in the windshield ?"

Re: Post some of those sexy interiors
Center console? If so take off the 7mm bolts holding the shifter plate. In the glove box department in the backish area are 2 10mm bolts. Another will be reachable once the shifter plate is removed its in the middle. You will angle the socket near where the light usually is. I forget if there is one near the top of the console but I am sure you will have to remove the radio pod via the top two bolts which I recall aren't regular 10mm but I might be forgetting.
Ohh yea you have to remove the shifter handle. Its held in by a C clip that can be reachable on the front side of the handle. A screw driver helps popping it off then just slide the handle off, I had to use some force to get mine off.
