Apparently, the Krylon Fusion paints are really good at maintaining the surface texture.

LOL. not purple, just faded from the Midwest sun. All in all, I figured these would be the comments I would get, but the way I see it, this car is nowhere near done. Its just really hard to do all this work while this car is my daily driver.

 

yeah you really shouldn't take all these boneheads seriously, most of them are too scared to be different. Seems like a lot of people here like the "Hey my car looks exactly like yours,cool!" thing happening. Boring, boring, boring. Lots of black on black, or tan on tan. Boring. Obviously lots of these guys don't attend car shows, if they do they must be blind folded.

I dont think it looks bad, the color just isnt right for the car. Its the wrong shade of blue.

 

Maybe a darker shade of blue would have looked a lot better imo. At least youre keeping it original though.

 

What state are you in cause I do not want to be any where around that camaro if it's on the road. I'm sure you could stop working on it for a little bite save up 500.00 dollars and get yourself a beater car well you fix up your camaro. If I can bought a 85 chevy suburban for 450.00 with a 350 in it just needed brakes and tires. now on the road as my every day beater. I think it would be best for you to do in your case that why you can just work on the camaro and leave it and not have to put it back together so you can drive it.

then sell the beater once the camro is all fished but that's my opition

 

Hes in the middle of this project. Making a judgment like that before it's even finished is pure ignorance. You have no idea what this car looked like before he got it. If you are going to have it painted eventually, why would you care what the replacement fenders/doors look like? I do agree, however, that he should have spent the money on new struts before he started on the interior. If its broke, fix it first.

But for the others, he made this thread to receive feedback on his work. Just saying "hey durrr its ugly" helps no-one and makes you look dumb. Post why you don't like it and what he can do to improve it. You will help everyone and at the same time not look ignorant.
