Donor car: 86 S/C
Recipient : 91 RS

Ok, This is a very difficult decision for me. The RS has manual everything except the hatch pull down. The S/C has power locks, power windows, and the remote hatch release.

The RS has some damage to the passenger side door and I bought the S/C to hopefully use for parts on the RS. Obviously I will have to find a way to mount the gfx onto the S/C's passenger side door.

Here is the dilemma. If I swap one door over, I'll either have to swap out to manual, or preferably swap in to power options. If anything I would really like to keep the hatch release.

Obviously the harnesses for the two cars are as different as you can get, the RS has the 3.1l, while the S/C has the 5.0l. Is there any quick way to just pick and choose what I would need off of the harness without having to swap everything. I know there is no "easy way out" with f-bodies, but I'm praying for one here.

Also, about the hatch release, will I have to change over the pull down motor on my '91 or will I still be able to use it?

P.S. - moderators, I understand a similar question was answered numerous times, I did search for an answer. Unfortunately I can find any threads that discuss a swap so far apart as '86 to '91.
