Re: dash swaps
the dash swap is a piece of cake the only real physical work is cutting of the top dash pad an coming up with some A pillar posts the wiring is what kicked my butt took way longer than i thought.

Re: dash swaps
Read read read.
Wiring was easy. I put a 95 Bird dash in my 91 Z. I have a factory service manual for my Z, and a friend of mine supplied me with all the wiring diagrams I needed for a 95 Bird. Got em from AllData. Just match up function to function, and you'd be surprised how often the wire colors match. Its just tedious work.
Same goes for the HVAC. My only issue is my A/C and Defroster work great, but when I turn it to Vent, the blower motor shuts off. Havent figured that one out yet ...
And the dash itself is easy to get in also. On both sides you will see (when you get your old dash out) two "brackets" extending down the sides of the car (you'll know em when you see em), those gotta be cut out for the 4th gen dash to fit.

For the heater box modifications. Again, piece of cake.
Oh ya, check out this page also for some more tips, paying special attention to the A-pillar solution...
