Quick question (cup holder)
Has anyone ever drilled in here? Im pretty sure, just not confirmed that its ok if you don't have electric windows. I was wondering if anyone has drilled a cup holder in here, seems like a good idea to me.

Ever taken the shift plate off to see whats under it?
Not a darn thing
Drill to your hearts extent (with it removed - might snag a wire or two otherwise)

I think on your year of a car, there is an airbag sensor or something with the airbag under there...but dont take my word on it. On older ones without airbag, there is nothing there, it was meant for the 82-84 console clock which i have in my car.
