Putting 4th gen seats in a 3rd gen

I know they will bolt right in, but is there anyway to convert the power hook ups?
My GTA has power seats on both, and so do the 4th gen replacements, but the hook ups are different.

Anyone done this before? Can the seats be swapped from rail to rail?
any info or suggestions appreciated, thanks!

Try putting the power wire to the power wire, the ground to the ground, and try the other wires to see where hey need to go.

You should be able to tap a the main power wire to run the others. In the attachment that I provided, I copied what another member here did for his seats. I did this same search about a month ago and it took me like 4 hours to sift through all the crap posts that didn't mean anything before I found what I was looking for. I don't know how well it will cross over to what you have, but it should help some. Best of luck to you. I"ll be getting my seats here some time this week so I'll be doing this same thing very soon.

Since we're on the topic...

Will non power T/A seats readily bolt in to a third gen t/a?
EX- do you just remove the old seat and track, and the 4t gen track and seats bolt in on the same holes?

Yes. Remove the entire third gen seat assembly. Put the fourth gen seats in, install bolts. That simple! Well, mostly that simple. Nothings ever THAT simple.

Your old seats have a power wire and a ground wire. Your new seats have a power wire and a ground wire. Figuring out how to hook them up shouldn't require a whole lot of concentration. Cut the connectors off and crimp and/or solder them together!
