My hood release cable broke at the handle
1991 Z28, 5.7 liter (if that makes a diff). The cable to release the hood from under the dash snapped and now I can't open my hood. Is there anyother way to open it? And it replacing it hard? Thanks.

i would cut just the plastic and metal back on the cable until i could pull it to open the hood. replacing the cable seems easy enough.
