Re: Shift **** clip
Take the clip out and it should slide off. Mine is loose (dk why) and it wiggles back and forth...
If its stuck, try twisting it a bit while pulling up on it.

Re: Shift **** clip
Leather e-brake handles have been unavailable for years. It's doubtful you ever find a new one again. Even used, you'll be lucky to find a nice one, let alone 'mint.' But you might get lucky at a junkyard and find a decent one. Or someone who might have one is Tom at www.houseofcamaro.com
The plastic ones are still available though.
Whereas, new shifter *****, both leather and plastic, auto and manual, are still available. I'd guess there are a few sources, but one is site sponsor, Modern Day Muscle:

***** are on this page ^, and e-brake handles are on the 'next' page.

Re: Shift **** clip
You know, hammer or a blunt object or a punch for that matter works really well. (this time I am not joking).
Sometimes these things just need a bit of "persuasion" from a blunt force.
