Installing white guages, question about bulbs?

I just bought these today:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-91...QQcmdZViewItem

The question I have is, do I need to get different bulbs (brighter? different color?) to get it to look like that at night? And is there a seperate bulb for the needles? The reason I ask is because I'm wondering if it's possible to get the needles to glow red at night?

those actually light up. the numbers are EL paint so they actually light up. It comes with a dimmer switch. I have the same set.. just not installed yet.

The needles use the same lights as the rest of the gauges. I suppose you could replace all your bulbs with red LEDs and it would light them up in red somewhat. The backs of the gauge faces are solid so no red would show through the numbers... but it would light up the trip meter/odometer in red.

So if I don't buy any other bulbs or anything, what color will the needles be at night? Cuz the needles aren't lit up in the pictures...

Hey, I didn't replace any bulbs and mine came out good. I don't have a picture with the gauges and needles lit up at night, the picture I have I didnt have the lights on so the needles wern't lit up. I colored the needles red with a sharpee and it came out really good. Here's a few pics, ill try to get one with the needles lit up soon. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hmmm and the needles turned out pretty good using a sharpie? I might have to try that. Do you experience any problems with seeing the needles light up at night?

Hey yep they came out good with a sharpee, simple and easy just make sure to color the sides and all of the needle. I have no trouble seeing the needles, the gauges are definitly brighter then them but you can still see them plenty easy, im gonna get a picture for u hopefully tonight.
