Look what I just got!!! Great Deal.
I just got some black leather 4th gen seats from a '96 firebird. These will be going in my firebird with red interior. Should look good because there is black on the dash and dash pad. What do you guys think?

Hey, with a good cleaning they should be great! How much was shipping? Either way good leather seats have run as high as 400-500.00. So.... yes GREAT DEAL! Myself, I opted for cloth 4th gen Camaro seats and 98 Trans am console...should finish installing them soon.... may have pics later..... I like the comfort that the 4th gens seem to have over the 3rd gens...

How hard are they to put in? I don't want the shifter to stick too far up.

I think it really depends on preference in seats.... Mine 3rd gen seats were worn out but, I like the way these camaro seats hug my body.... sounds corny dont it? But anyway its preference I think

Okay, sounds good. I heard it is easier to put in a 4 gen manual into a thirdgen auto. Let me know how your swap goes. Thanks

Re: Look what I just got!!! Great Deal.
Hey, I got my seats from that same guy! I got raped on shipping though, I think I paid 250 for my seats, (black leather BMW seats with about 18K on 'em) but 160 for shipping. Seemed kind of high because they were only 3 hours away and that wasn't even shipped to my house. Looks like they need to be cleaned real good too just like mine

Re: Look what I just got!!! Great Deal.
I went to the melbourne location by my house and got a 98 trans am console for $40.00,and when we were heading back to the office i spotted a 90 gta which is odd because they only deal with new cars at LKQ but the car was a 80,000 mile car in great shape so they kept it and the guy sold me the dash pad for $60.00 and the t-top bag for $25.00 and both of them are in great shape with no scratches, tears or cracks this is by far the softest dash pad i have ever seen i always thought that they were a hard plastic i never realized how soft they were, plus he gave me the radio bezel for free!!! those guys are great and i highly recomend them to everyone

well, I am going to pick them up soon, but I may resell them for more depending on the condition. I am trying to save up for a classic car as a project car.
