AC/Heater control unit delete?

Has anyone deleted their AC/Heater control unit? I wasn't sure if just unplugs...or if I have to actually cut it out. I don't use my heat, ac, defrost...or anything. My plan is to install my digital air ride control unit in that spot. If anyone has done this, please post...and pictures would be a plus. Thanks

To remove it simply unscrew the 4 screws on the face plate, pull the unit out and un plug all the wires and vacuum lines. it's really simple to do.

you can either make a filler plate like the 1LE radio delete plate or think of something cool to put in the space.
