need help with console repair
My automatic console is wanting to bulge out in the center of the console on both sides.. Any ideas on how to repair.... Could I put a vice on it and let it sit for a month???? anyone with this problem?

Either the cross supporting bar has been broken or removed, consoles are a dime a dozen so IMO get another one either at a JY or here.

ive seen people put a new support bar inside to bolt and hold the side in closer. center consoles can get exspensive especially on shipping charges. good luck

i fixed mine with some epoxy and wood working clamps. it looks like a new one a cost me about $6.00 and a day without a console. mine was coming apart where the foam guled to the frame.
