Currently my '82 has a light grey interior set. I have an opportunity to buy an entire darker grey/charcol grey plastic set out of an '88. I need to replace all my plastics and I want to go grey or black.

My question is would the darker grey look ok with the lighter grey carpets and seats? Who has the darker grey plastics and what color are the seats/door panels/carpets

IMO, i don't think it would look that bad. but, why can't you get ones that match? are you really getting that good of a deal? if so, you'll have to live with it and that might not be so bad. you are the one that has to be happy, nobody else.

you could always photoshop the colors into your interior, too.
