leather steering wheel

leather steering wheel

i have an original leather wrapped steering wheel and the leather needs to be replaced. does anyone know of a link or contact for a shop that can replace the leather to look original?

There was a guy on a famous auction site that was selling restored steering wheels that looked REAL nice. I think He was getting around $200 for them - They looked brand new. I'm pretty sure that getting the old original Steering wheel as a core was part of his bargin. ( might be more $$ if you don't have a core )

I have not seen that auction in awhile - but it's not a bad place to watch for him. Maybe another board member remembers those auctions or has his information !?!?

Looks like they simply placed new leather on the original steering wheel - in other words - not a complete restoration.
