I disassembled my digital dash!
Like the title says. I took my digital dash COMPLETELY apart. It wasn't working quite right, so I took it out of the car and started fiddling with it to see if there were any loose connections. Before I knew it, I had taken it completely apart, removed all the circuit boards, displays, everything. Anyway, I'm going to clean everything and fix any problems I have before I put it back together. If anyone is interested, I'll post pictures of the project. The dash is far simpler than most people think. The LCD components sit in front of a plastic color filter which sits in front of a backlight. I was thinking of changing some of the filters to customize the dash. Especially the tach which doesn't match my engine.
