Trim Carpet

Hey everybody I am wondering where to get the carpet for the plastic interior trim for a camaro. I am also wondering if anybody knows if there is any difference between the plastics that came with carpet or without the carpet, besides of course the carpet. I am aware of some of the newer models receiving shoulder seat belts in the rear so that is one difference, but are there any others? I am looking to put the carpet on peices that previously had no carpet so if there is a difference I may just hunt down some carpeted peices. I have looked through IraceDave's? website to no prevail, but I never got around to checking out Hawk's or a few others, so if you know please help me out. Looking forward to your replys, and don't tell me to search because if I had found my answer through search I wouldn't have posted a new thread.

Re: Trim Carpet

You'd probably need to order plain carpet, cut it, and glue it on yourself. When I order new carpet from Dave, I'm going to get some extra for the console and maybe kick panels too.

Re: Trim Carpet

Yeah see that's what I was thinking also, but I haven't encountered any auto carpets that don't already come pre-molded. Even the pre-molds have some excess but not enough to do all the trim with, maybe the kickpanels at most. Thanks for the link Jay, but I'd rather stick with somebody that has a good rep and that I know alittle bit more about. Anybody have any more insight? Anybody know any dfferences between the trim over the years?
