Swapping out Aircon from 1988 TA to 1982 TA

I have a 1988 GTA parts car that has the push button aircon system.

I would like to transplant it in my 1982 TA which has the older system.

Will i get away with swapping the heater box and using the existing ductwork or do i need to change everything.

Also does the push button system still use a vacuum feed or is it fully electric control of the valves?

Any help or advise would be great.
