it looks like i need to wire the brown/white and pink and black to a light bulb, just wanna make sure thats right before cut my harness all up??? thanks

Your CEL on your car works like any other light bulb. You give it power and a ground and it lights up.

So all you need to do is, take the existing wire for the CEL, and wire it to the positive of your new bulb. And give it a ground. You can probably pick a ground up from the dash harness as well.
