Where to get new foot area dash panels??

Just a simple question about dash panels...
I do not know the name of it but the panel that is above your legs on drivers side. where you have the fuses and everything is broken with me...

So I have to replace it...Anyone knows a site that sells this???
I tried Hawk's but I didn't find anything there..

Re: Where to get new foot area dash panels??

The panel where the fuse panel door mounts is called a sound insulator panel, or more commonly a driver's side hush panel.

I am sure that Bruce at Hawk's will have one that will fit your '87. I do not know if he'll ship to Norway or that you'll like the postage to do so either.

Modern day Muscle (formerly PeryPam.com) has the part listed,http://www.moderndaymuscle.com/inc/sdetail/1121.

Re: Where to get new foot area dash panels??

Yes,..... They are different from Manual to Auto. The manual has an additional notch cut from it to accomodate the clutch pedal. The Non-AC cars had yet another style hush panel for each of the auto and Manual cars too.

The Firebird Hush Panels are not the same as a Camaro Hush Panels either. You might be able to "Make" it work - but they are different.

If you can't find anyone willing to ship to Norway let me know. I'll sell one for an 87 IROC automatic for $15 or a Pair of driver and Passenger hush panels for $25. Good shape with no cracks or damage. If you need a fuse panel or the the little diagnostic port trim panel they are avaiable at an additional cost. ( PayPal payment only please ! )

Shipping one of these to Norway will cost approx $30-$35. If you are serious about buying one than I'll box it up and get an exact shipping quote for you.
