In 1986 Did the Iroc camaro Come with a 140mph speedo stock???

 

Yeah I'm pretty sure they did. 140 is the last number but 145 is the last mark.

 

alright cause my iroc has a 145mph speedo but my friends has a 85mph and his is an iroc

 

I think they came either way. I think the 85 Iroc's had both then they went to 145 in later ones. Most Irocs have 145's

 

They switched to the 145 speedo midyear '86. I think that was only for tpi cars though.

 

1985 cars had the 85 mph.In 86 the later cars had the 145 mph but only if you had the tpi.Ive seen earlier 86 tpi irocs with the 85 mph.I believe it was stock up till 1988 when they went with a 115 mph for at least the 305 tpi.My 86 tpi iroc has a 145 but my 89 tpi iroc vert had a 115

 

ok thanks guys. now for my other Q, You know the black looking clip on the hatch? When you put it down it connected to a circuit looking clip does this power the third brake light??? If so how can i tell its bad? My third light isnt working.

 

Yes, the third brake light. Try cleaning the contacts with some light-grit sandpaper.
