You'll need to basically get rid of the cluster and use the outside trim piece as the mounting place for the brackets. Then it all depends on what you want to accomplish. I cutoff the beveled gauge holes, then filled in the holes with ABS plastic. Used plastic filler to give myself a blank slate and then cut my new gauge holes. You'll need to then put together a wiring harness and spice into the original harness, or run new wires to the sending units.

It's a bunch of work, not as plug and play as the Camaro can be. But it's not too difficult.

Here's 1 pic. I've got others at home that I can post if need be.

Hey that looks sweet thats exactly what I'm looking to do on mine, would you have a pic of the back of the cluster, also did you cut out the factory guage rings completely?

Sorry looks like I don't have any pics of the back side. Could of sworn I did. I did use Painless Wiring, gauge harness, which IMO made things a little neater and simplier. I forgot to mention that.

Yes I cut the rings down completely. If you use a 5" gauge like I did for the speedo and tach that the stock holes are just a little too small.

And to connect the other 2 holes for the smaller gauges you'll need to take those rings off as well. I got some abs plastic from www.mcmastercarr.com I don't remember the thicknesses but I measured the stock plastic, and got that size, then some thicker stuff for behind it to add strength to the panel. This is a little hard to explain, wish I would have took pics, but I always forget. If you want I'll try drawing something up to show you better what I mean if it's not making sense.

Trying to get a general idea. Where the red color is, is this the area that you cut out and then mounted the new plastic. Thanks for your help!!!!
