GTA electric seats... repair info?

Hey everyone,

I have the optional electric seats in my 88 GTA. the lumbar support in my seat inflates, but slowly goes down. The passenger seat unit just hums and almost immediately clicks off, with no inflation at all. the side supports both work well. i was wondering if anyone had a schematic, or tech manual info on these seats? i have searched, and i cannot find info on repairs, parts, etc.

Thanks in advance,

Jason

Re: GTA electric seats... repair info?

The stock Ultima seats use a single electric air pump located underneath the driver seat, and I believe a solenoid controls where the air flow goes.

If one of the bladders aren't staying inflated either the lines that feed the bladders, or the bladders themselves have a leak.

At least, thats my understanding of it.
